Until then, you may continue using your accounts, loans, and related services as you do today, including your existing online banking, debit cards, checks, and account numbers. Yes. As your November 7, 2026 system conversion approaches, we'll provide a variety of resources to help you prepare, including Change in Terms notices, System Conversion Guides, System Conversion Conversations, and other communications. System Conversion Conversations are informational sessions that explain what to expect during system conversion, highlight important changes, and provide an opportunity to have your questions answered. They will be available in person and virtually, and you may also register to receive access to a recorded session. Additional information, including registration details, will be shared before October 5, 2026.
You will receive new Credit Union VISA debit and ATM cards to replace any existing AEB card(s) prior to system conversion. We will provide additional information, including activation instructions, as we get closer to the system conversion.
For a smooth system conversion, the Credit Union will continue to process your existing American Eagle Bank checks for a period of time after system conversion so you can continue using them without interruption. You can order new checks after system conversion that will include your new account number and the appropriate Credit Union routing number.
Your deposit accounts at the Credit Union, referred to as "shares," are now insured by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF). The NCUSIF is backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S.government and administered by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).
This insurance, commonly referred to as "share insurance," has replaced the deposit insurance previously provided by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) for American Eagle Bank accounts, with no gap in coverage. This insurance covers accounts at the Credit Union up to $250,000 per member, per ownership category.
